First post at the beginning of the school year

Rosemary is 16 and lives in Lawrence, MA with an older cousin. Her mother and stepfather live nearby with their new baby. Rosemary has never met her biological father, or her siblings from his side of the family.

Rosemary started having trouble academically her first year in high school when disruptive students became a distraction to her and claimed the attention of her teachers. She frequently skipped, her grades dropped and she asked to be transferred. This is Rosemary’s first year at the High School Learning Center.

As of this posting, Rosemary is a 3^rd year freshman. She has passed the science MCAS and needs to take and pass the English and math MCAS in order to graduate. Her goal is to attain a high school diploma.
